It's usually a man...Who knows mate, I think so! It's usually a manic rush to get lines down! Lately I'm trying to get the whole head shape down first and work within that, rather than staring with a circle. It's usually head, nose, eyes, then the rest. My aim is to quickly capture the feeling of the person - more character design than portrait, but really I just try and practice as much as I have time for.
