Been away on holiday for a few weeks and just getting back into the swing of things, these are fellow commuters from the past two mornings. Still struggling to push the shapes for a more cartoony look, does anyone have any tips/advice?
Moody woman is fantastic. There is a real contrast between these two drawings. The line on the woman have a determined more confident quality. Maybe its the difference in brush you used with the colour. Either way it's a triumph.
Great stuff Brad ! About the cartoony thing, I think, cartoony means caricature, so exagerate one or several features, maybe one that strike you at the first sight, so you get nice shape contrast. But I have to say it's really hard to get it straight from live model !
